On May 3rd at St.Nicholas and St. Laurence School, Martin Young will be speaking about Climbing Plants. The meeting starts at 7.30 pm with refreshments available.

Martin, who runs a nursery on Dorchester Road at Upwey, is very knowledgeable and always gives us an excellent  talk.

May 12th sees our Plant Sale at the Memorial Hall at 2pm. There will be a Society stall where members can donate plants or, if desired, members can have a stall of their own. In this case, the table will be free but 20% of takings will go to the Society.

On June 21st, at 6 pm (please note, not 7th) we have again been invited to Immy Turner’s garden at the Dairy House, Watery Lane.

We went 2 years ago, when the garden was newly landscaped, so it will be very interesting to see how it has matured.

Plenty of chat in 2016

This will be a very pleasant evening spent by the river with drinks and nibbles provided.
