The Society celebrated Christmas on 7th December with a lovely Christmas Supper. With Derek Luther making an entertaining quiz-master and festive raffle prizes, a very pleasant evening was enjoyed by our members.

We now have a break until February 1st when Peter and Mark Read will talk on ‘Preparing for the Show Bench’. They are very popular speakers so this promises to be a very good meeting.

As we have a break, it is a very good time to sit in the warm and plan next year’s planting. Time to look at the seed catalogues and of course study the Spring Show schedule to see what you could enter.
