Our Plant Sale takes place on Saturday 11th May at The Memorial Hall, Victoria Avenue. Tables are available free of charge with 20% of takings going to the Society. You don’t have to be a member to have a stall.

The hall will be open from 1pm to set up with the sale starting at 2pm. Teas and cakes will also be on sale,

Numbers were disappointingly down at our May meeting when Alan Eason presented an interesting talk on Water in the Garden. He is a very good speaker and showed us, through slides, haw to build a pond and what plants thrive in and around the water.

Our next event will be on June 6th. Members are invited to bring a picnic to the garden at 7, Elwell Street ( weather permitting).

Schedules are now available for our Summer Show in August. They can be downloaded from the ‘Shows’ link or collected from P & M Read, Florists. They will also be available at the picnic in June. The show is open to all to exhibit.
